TMS320C6455: PCI auto-initialization

Part Number: TMS320C6455

the PCI_EEAI pin has been enabled to auto load PCI registers from EEPROM.  We want to confirm if there is some reliability issue if we change the 0x403 (revision_ID) from 0x1 to 0x2.  I assume there should be ok to do such change in the EEPROM and DSP should be able to load this revision ID into PCI config register automatically.   Our colleague met one case that the TMS320C6455 can't boot because the revision ID was changed.   But so far we can't reproduce this issue any more.  can you check if there was some bugs related?
