Compact 7 BSP for AM37x Evaluation Module

I got a AM37X Evaluation Module (EVM) Sitara from Mistral.

I try to install Microsoft Compact 7(1687) and create new OSDesign base on OMAP3530 EVM:ARMv7, after OS build successfully.

Could this OS image use on AM37X Evaluation Module (EVM) Sitara from Mistral ?

I had try it, it seem MAP3530 EVM:ARMv7 OS image can not use on AM37X Evaluation Module.

And Where can i found Compact 7 BSP for AM37X Evaluation Module?

Mark,

If you are using the BSP comes with Microsoft Compact 7 drop, then it can not run on AM/DM37x EVMs.

If you are using Combined BSP for EC7, could you please post your boot up log?

We even get source code from Ti Ftp site (BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8_02_00_00_Mar022011_Source.exe),

but it always build fail on my compact 7 environment (Compact 1678).

Is this source code can not compile under compact 7 environment (Compact 1678)?

Colud you kindly provide where can i got the latest version of Compact 7 BSP for AM/DM37x EVMs?

Where i can got the Combined BSP for EC7 ?

Mark,

BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8_02_00_00_Mar022011_Source.exe is the version I referred to as Combined BSP for Embedded Compact 7.

It should compile with EC7 December drop(build 1486). What is "Compact 1678"?

Could you please post your compiling errors, so that we can help further?

Sorry to correct , Our Platform Builder build version is 1687.

Did BSP_WINCE_ARM_A8_02_00_00_Mar022011_Source.exe source code possible to compile in Platform Builder build version is 1687 for AM/DM 37X EVM?

Is TI plan to release new version for AM/DM 37X EVM?

Mark,

File omap_bch_decoder.c contains a character that can not be understood by your version of VS due to language differences.

c:\wince700\platform\common\src\soc\common_ti_v1\common_ti\block\nand\omap_bch_decoder.c : warning C4819: The file contains a character that cannot be represented in the current code page (950). Save the file in Unicode format to prevent data loss

Could you please send the saved copy of this file ?

While we are finding the problem, you can also try to ignore the warning by modify line#23

#pragma warning(disable: 4018 4819)

Dear Tao:

After convert some build error files into Unicode format, i can build NK.bin successfully.

It also have same problem in EVM_3530 OSDesign ,after convert some build error files into Unicode format and correct some compile error, EVM_3530's NK.bin builded successfully.

AM37x EVM can boot by those image files.
