TDA4VM: How to synchronize time between QNX and RTOS?

Hi,

My working environment is qnx+rtos on the tda4 board, I want to synchronize time between QNX and RTOS.

Is there any way to synchronize the time between QNX and RTOS?

Or Is there any way to synchronize the time between A72 and R5F?

Hi,

You could use common timer like GTC to sync time between all cores. This is what is used in Vision apps.

Hi Brijesh,

I looked at the demo in the vision app.

There are some examples that do not use time synchronization, and some use time synchronization.

I want to know when time synchronization is needed ?

Hi Baichun,

I guess you want to know if there is any way to use common timer, isn't it?

In vision apps, we use appLogGetTimeInUsec API to get time in us. This is used all across framework. It uses internally common GTC timer to get the 64bit timer value.
