AM6548: Question about Booting from SD

We used AM6548 and PMIC to make a prototype, but because we did not connect the MMC1_SDCD pin, we could not enter UBOOT, and there was no information printing on the debugging serial port.
In addition, the AM3354 we used previously did not have this problem.Could you please help to confirm whether the MMC1_SDCD pin is necessary for the AM6548?

Yes, SDCD is necessary for ROM boot from SD card on AM6548.

Is there any way to configure it to look like the AM3354?(For example, by debugging the serial port to change the ROM-code) Now we have tried to enter the U-Boot via USB/UART/DFU on the EVM board（IDK） and failed, now we are looking for TI technical support. Thanks。

The ROM code cannot be changed, but you can boot-up via USB/UART and update the u-boot code. Is this what you meant? If so, please reference the corresponding SW User Guide on what sequence you have to follow: https://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E

If you still have issues after following the guide, please confirm your boot switch setting and share the log.
