BEAGLE-3P-BBONE-AI: Boot Image File

Part Number: BEAGLE-3P-BBONE-AI

Hi Team, seeking for your assistance on this concern.

Working with a beaglebone black using the am335x chip when i build the files in order to boot my device they get tagged making the boot image files be named something other than u-boot zImage and boneblack, after i bitbake and go to look at the files so i can transfer to an sd card in order to boot this is using the beagle bone black
zImage--5.4.58+gitAUTOINC+c5e5dc4e13_706efec4c1-r0-beaglebone-yocto-20210716153001, u-boot-beaglebone-yocto-2020.01-r0, MLO-beaglebone-yocto-2020, am335x-boneblack--5.4.58+gitAUTOINC+c5e5dc4e13_706efec4c1-r0-beaglebone-yocto-20210716153001
those are the names of the files i would be using to boot off the sd card but they seem to be getting tagged. i have the original files , but they are shortcuts to the files named above so i cannot copy/ paste them

Thank you very much.

  • Hi Mark,

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding exactly what the problem is. Can you please provide some more detail or high level information on what you are trying to achieve?

If the file names are not what you want after a build, you are welcome to rename them when you copy them to the SD Card.
