[DRA829] Cannot access addresses after 0x707f0000

Hi, Experts,

We are using SDK7.03 verison, We found that the code cannot access addresses after 0x707F0000 during the use of MSMC. If there is code here, it will enter an exception. And the address cannot be accessed in ccs！

What is the reason why this area cannot be used?

Hi Xie,

Depending on how much cache region is configured for cache in MSMC, SYSFW reserves 64KB for communication. Please refer the below document for details.

If there is no cache region configured, SYSFW will reserve 64KB at 0x707F0000 ~ 0x707FFFFF for communication.

SYSFW will enable firewall protection to prevent access to this region reserved for communication.
