AM6442: PRP/HSR on AM6442

Hi,

  • I know that there is no current solution for PRP/HSR on AM6442, but is it available at 100Mbps on this processor? If not, is it in the roadmap?

From the 2 part numbers at TI site, the preproduction one has “ICSS + EtherCAT HW Accelerator + CAN-FD + Pre-integrated Stacks Enabled”, the production one has only “ICSS Enabled”, will both be able to implement PRP/HSR and PTP (limited to 100Mbps)?

    At present HSR/PRP is not available on AM6442 at 100Mbps , It is planned for 8.2 SDK release ( which will be released in quarter 1 of 2022).

    Yes , both will be implemented.
