OMAP-L137 processor questions

I have a few questions about the OMAP-L137 processor:

1. There is only an EMU0 pin and no EMU1 pin. In the SpectrumDigital evaluation kit they use a switch to create EMU1. What is the purpose of these pins? Is EMU1 required? What are their termination requirements?

2. The RTCK pin on the SpectrumDigital evaluation kit uses an OR gate. I am wondering if this is a requirement? What is the purpose of the ‘OR’ gate?

3. I can’t find any documentation on clock output’s or inputs to synchronize the DSP with external devices. Are there any available?

4. I could not find a mention of a debug serial port on this processor. Is there one? Thanks very much!

2) The OR gate functions as a buffer since the other input is grounded. See this wiki for information on when to buffer the signals: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS_Target_Connection_Guide#Buffered_Case

3) You can use the OSCOUT pin or any of the PWMs to synchronize with external devices.

4) The UART peripheral can be used to hook up to the serial port of a host computer for debug information.
