AM6421: QUERY REGARDING IMPLIMENTATION OF RMII INTERFACE USING GMAC.

Hi,

I am using the Processor AM6421 In one of my controller board project. For this I have to use 3 RMII interfaces. I used the 2 dedicated ports. Can you help me on how to implement the third RMII on the AM6421.

I could find the RGMII interfaces only in the reference schematics.

    Hello Jishnu,

    We will update the AM64x datasheet in the next release to be more explicit.

    AM64x CPSW ports are compatible at a hardware level with RMII (10/100) and RGMII (10/100/1000). PRU_ICSSG ports are compatible at a hardware level with MII (10/100) and RGMII (10/100/1000), but our software team is implementing RGMII support first.
