Is there a trick to writing the AINTC registers of the AM1808? I seem to be unable to modify these; they always read 0.

For example,

unsigned long *VBR = (unsigned long *)0xFFFEE050;

*VBR = &ISR_TABLE[0];

In CCS, the value of VBR doesn't ever change.

Greg,

I am able to modify that address on my EVM. Can you try to manually poke that address through the CCS memory view?

I cannot change any value under the ARMINTC0ARM registers in the CCS register window. I can by way of comparison change SYSCFG0ARM and USB0ARM registers, both manually (CCS) and thru code.

I figured it out. I am using the AM1808.GEL that came with the experimenter's kit. It had the wrong address for the AINTC.

GEL_MapAddStr( 0xFFFE0000, 0, 0x00010000, "R|W|AS4", 0 ); // ARM INTC

the 0xFFFE0000 should be 0xFFFEE000.

sorry, should be:

GEL_MapAddStr( 0xFFFE0000, 0, 0x00010000, "R|W|AS4", 0 ); // ARM INTC

GEL_MapAddStr( 0xFFFEE000, 0, 0x00002000, "R|W|AS4", 0 ); // ARM INTC
