CPU Utilization

Hi all, I need help in finding the CPU utilization % of a given application. Say for example, I am using C64xx family of processor and my clock frequency is 800 MHz. My application takes a total clock cycles of 450,0000. In this case how should I have to calculate the CPU utilization % ?

If you are sure 450,0000 is for every second and it is for all used CPU cycles, then you can use the 450,0000/800,000,000 as the utilization.

Hello Yanmin,

I am curious to comment on this. If an application takes 450,0000 CPU cycles means it includes the Idle task's CPU cycles right? To calculate right CPU load, we should deduct Idle task's CPU cycles from application CPU cycles right? Correct me if I am wrong.
