DRA829V: XDS110 onboard debugger usage in EVM

Hi Arun,

Were the instructions at 6. CCS Setup for J721E — Processor SDK RTOS J721E (ti.com) followed for the host machine?

Has the host machine CCS setup been used successfully to the XDS110 / DRA829 board, or is this initial bring-up?

Hello Kip,

I have checked these points. Still the issue persists. I have reinstalled all the necessary drivers and CCS also is up to date. I could see the necessary library 'libjioxds110.so' is available on the right path. 

Still I am getting below log

Hi Arun,

I assume you are using CCS Linux. Were you able to connect in the past and this is a new error? Or is this the first time you are attempting to connect using the on-board XDS110?

Did you run the driver install script (install_drivers.sh) with sudo after installing CCS?

Hello Ki,

Yes. We are using linux. 

We are trying to connect xds110 for the first time. We were working with BH xds560v2.

Can you try running CCS with sudo to see if that helps?

Great! FYI - the issue with dbgjtag should be resolved in CCS 10.4.0.
