SK-AM64: Future support dpkg and opkg on the AM64?

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who has query about AM64. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

Are there any thoughts to supporting dpkg on the AM64 in the future?
This would allow CODESYS users to use there UI in CODESYS for programming Linux ARM processors.
If there is a dpkg I would be interested in prototyping it.

Hi Ray Vincent,

We do not have plans to enable dpkg at this time. We currently use opkg as our package manager, which is more native to the Yocto/OE infrastructure we utilize.
