AM5728: TPM I2C Error on Custom Board

Part Number: AM5728

Hi

I am working on a custom board based on AM5728 SoC.

We have connected ATMEL  TPM on I2C bus 2.

When I run i2cdump command on TPM , I am getting following error.

root@am57xx-evm:~# i2cdump -f -y 1 0x29

  • Hi,

As mentioned in the earlier thread " TI doesn't have experience with Atmel TPMs being used for securing boot. As you correctly observe, our suggestion would be to use a secure device with so that the root of trust is secured entirely within the chip from time zero. So since this question is really about software drivers to interact with the Atmel TPM, our recommendation would be to consult with Atmel support.".
