I have a question regarding what the AWR1843 has detected.
1. How many objects can AWR1843 detect?
2. Do you collect statistics when calculating the distance from the 1-frame data of AWR1843?

Hi,
1) The number of objects is determined mostly by the environment and configuration (number of ADC samples, number of chirps...) Usually in most applications the challenge is that there are reflections which are considered as noise and are not useful for the final algorithm decision.
2) What type of statistics? The mmWave SDK demo provides statistics about processing times.
thank you

Hi, Cesar
The second question is to calculate the IF frequency from each chirp in one frame. I wanted to ask if it is possible to obtain the distance by collecting statistics on which part of the calculated frequency was the most frequent.
The distance is computed based on the range fft computation
Thank you
Cesar
It is from the average of all the chirps. The range fft is computed for each chirp, than it is averaged to improve the SNR
thank you
