TDA2PXEVM: Assertion failed during running TIDL File I/O use case

Part Number: TDA2PXEVM

Hi,

I am using TIDL to deploy a custom model to TDA2PX EVM. When I run the File I/O use case with my network and parameters binary files, I get the following error:

Would you please let me know what this assertion means and how to solve this failure ?

Thanks,

Ahmed Anwar

  • Hi Ahmed,

Did you take a look at the line 379 in chains_common_tidl.c?

It failed the check "readSize == (dataSize * 2)" which means readSize is not equal to dataSize * 2.

You have to find out why they are not the same.

    Stanley

  • Hi Stanley,

Yes, I checked line 379 in chains_commin_tidl.c file.

I found that this assertion is related to the bias parameters. I solved this problem by turning off the bias in the convolutional layers in the original model before conversion and importing the model again using TIDL import tool.

However, it is not obvious why this assertion fails when I use bias in my convolutional layers. Moreover, I need to understand why readSize should be equal to dataSize * 2. What is the meaning of this condition ?

    Thanks,

    Ahmed Anwar
