TDA4VM: TDA4VM: How to set device tree for spi

Dear Experts

I have referenced this thread for spi device tree, it is very clear.

but I also have one more need thing to check. (confuse)

about this property

How do I set this SPI parameter for red mark ones as below code?

+ reg = <0x0 0x2160000 0x0 0x400>;
+ interrupts = <GIC_SPI 190 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH>;
+ clocks = <&k3_clks 272 1>;
+ power-domains = <&k3_pds 272 TI_SCI_PD_EXCLUSIVE>;

May you give us full setting about this part for SPI0~SPI7?

Because I have no idea about these numbers

TRM for interrupts:

You should subtract to 32 from the above numbers so as to get the right number for Linux.

For ex: MCSPI0 --> 216 - 32 = 184

Base addresses for MCSPI Instances:

So MCSPI0 example becomes:

+ reg = <0x0 0x2100000 0x0 0x400>;
+ interrupts = <GIC_SPI 184 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH>;
+ clocks = <&k3_clks 184 1>;
+ power-domains = <&k3_pds 184 TI_SCI_PD_EXCLUSIVE>;

It is very clear!

The only question is property of "reg".

May you explain "blue" , "green", "red" values as below?

reg = <0x0 0x2100000 0x0 0x400>;

Do I also need to modify these values for SPI0~7?

Hi Gibbs,

Basically 64 bit for start address & 64 bits for size.

So 0x0 0x2100000 --> Starting address of 0x2100000
0x0 0x400 --> size of 0x400

so blue/green/red can be retained same across all the instances.
