Hi all,

In my MontaVista 4.0.1 (linux 2.6.10 based) I see IRQs as below. I would like to ask whether it is normal to see the same IRQs twice? (vpfe_capture, DSP/BIOS LINK, EDMA TC Error)

Hi,

I can tell for VPFE that there are two interrupts registered for VPFE in the kernel, VD_INT0 and VD_INT1, both are configured for different number of lines in progressive display. so you will see same number of interrupts for both the interrupts.

Thank you Jadav,

Actually what i am trying to find the processes which may consume processing power and slow down the system on running.

Are these subsystem interrupts, number of which are increasing continuously slow down the system? Should I disable them whenever the application does not expect them?

Hi,

Well, VPFE interrupts are capture sub systems interrupts and it will increase only when you are trying to capture images. It should not be increasing if you are not using capture driver. Try disabling it.

Hi Zaheer,

If your platform supports vsync interrupt and if it is enabled, it will start coming once you start Video port.

I am sorry i could not help for keypad driver.
