portable DVR need help

Hi,

I suppose to design a portable DVR for recording TV shows as my undergraduate project. So need to identify proper processor(ARM based), development board/Evaluation board including required softwares.

So, please be kind enough to give correct directions/ Contacts that I would follow to identify and purchase them from TI.

I would start here... http://focus.ti.com/docs/solution/folders/print/485.html there are also other similar block diagrams of those types of applications (including portable dvd player, set top box, etc) you can draw from.

That should get you started for what TI products are best for those applications.

Foe, Thanks for the info.

Due to a personal problem, I had to stop working on this particular project. Hope I could be able to work on this after couple of years later with some more ideas.
