AM6442: LPDDR4 PCB trace width

Hi,

I got a question from my customer about LPDDR4 trace width.
According to DDR Board design and layout guidelines table 1-1, the typ. value is 4 Mil.

What happens if actual trace width is bigger than 4 Mil?
If trace impedance is aligned to the recommended value, it does not matter?

Yes, that is just a typical value which will get you close to the target trace impedance. The important value, as you note, is the trace impedance itself should align with the tolerances in the app note.
