TDA4VM: What is the new feature for Heterogenous Camera ?

Hi experts,

Hi Hutian,

The idea here is to support two or more different type of raw camera, which can be processed in the ISP (VISS). The camera can be captured from single or two CSIRX nodes and then can be processed in the VISS node.

Due to per frame context switch requirement. this requires changes in the VISS driver and few changes in the VISS node.

With this new feature, Could i get different resolution cam date from one CSI_RX Node ? Also Could i get the embedded data (DT=0x12)?

Hello Hutian,

No, we need to create different instance of same CSIRX node, in order get different resolution. This can be even supported in the current driver.

Embedded data type is still under discussion.

You could refer to ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-07_03_00_07\tiovx\kernels_j7\hwa\test\test_csitx_csirx.c, specifically CSIRX portion.
