AM3352: How to use eMMC's GPP (General Purpose Partition)

Hello,
The Linux kernel provides a tool for configuring SD/eMMC devices from user space named "mmc-utils" which is currently included in TI SDK package.
For example on GPP:

root@am335x-evm:~# mmc gp create --help
Usage:
        mmc gp create <-y|-n|-c> <length KiB> <partition> <enh_attr> <ext_attr> <device>
                Create general purpose partition for the <device>.
                Dry-run only unless -y or -c is passed.
                Use -c if more partitioning settings are still to come.
                NOTE!  This is a one-time programmable (unreversible) change.
                To set enhanced attribute to general partition being created set
                 <enh_attr> to 1 else set it to 0.
                To set extended attribute to general partition
                 set <ext_attr> to 1,2 else set it to 0

I'd also like to know whether AM3352's boot ROM can run SPL written in GPP or not.
Also, can SPL run u-boot.img written in GPP ?
Moreover, can u-boot.img run Linux kernel written in GPP ?

As noted in your referenced link
"At this point support from the application is required in order to make use of the GPP.
The bootloaders barebox and U-Boot and the Linux kernel both have this support already."

It seems that I can't cancel this operation. Is there any way to cancel this operation ?

From the link in my last reply, it looks like GPP from eMMC UDA is supported in u-boot and kernel.
It may need to pull in mainline u-boot, and also check with eMMC flash memory vendor for MMC version 5.1 support.
I'll transfer the e2e to my colleague for help checking if the GPP from eMMC UDA is supported by AM335x bootrom.
