PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: AM335x Mentor Register Set

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X

Apparently the registers in the device are not documented because they are proprietary.

e2e.ti.com/.../mentor-usb-otg-controller-musbmhdrc-documentation

Access to the Mentor register set beyond what is documented in the TRM is not publicly available as it requires a special NDA with the IP owner.

If your company is interested in pursuing this, we can put you on that path.

It would be helpful if the TRM (now up to revision 'q') said that somewhere.

Since TI will not support their own libraries, we need to put the NDA in place so I can attempt to write my own.

Can I find someone who can initiate that?

  • Hello Christopher,

The expectation for this device is that customers will use the TI-provided SDK offerings, either as-is, or as a primer for the creation of custom drivers. Access to the Mentor documentation is tightly controlled.

Please work with your TI salesperson for more information.
