AM6442: When will EtherCAT G (gigabit) be supported on Sitara processors

Hello, we are prototyping EtherCAT slave development on AM64x and AM2x processors.

Will EtherCAT G (gigabit) be supported on these processors or is this a future Sitara processor?

Hi Steve,

We have prototyped EtherCAT G (1Gbit/s) on AM64x family and current plan is to add support with software and firmware update in the future. So the current silicon is EtherCAT G capable.
