OMAP3530: NAND flash is not supported by X-Loader 1.47

Part Number: OMAP3530

In the NAND flash of S34MS02G100BHI000 made by SkyHigh Memory, the log was displayed that it is not supported by OMAP3530 X-Loader 1.47.

The above NAND flash is 2Gb, 2plane, 8bit bus, SLC and 1bit-ECC.

The log is as follows.

Texas Instruments X-Loader 1.47 (Sep 19 2011 - 18:23:57)
Unsupported Chip!
X-Loader hangs

The Read ID of the above NAND flash is as follows.

1st : 01h

2nd : AAh

3rd : 90h

4nd : 15h

5th : 44h

I'm not sure why the chip isn't supported.
Is there a way to solve it?

  • Hello Yoshifumi-san,

OMAP3530 has no design support as per the product page: https://www.ti.com/product/OMAP3530. We no longer have hardware or software expertise for this part in our team.

Please try searching our forums to see if any previous threads give you a way forward. For example, on Google I can do a site search like this:
    site:e2e.ti.com "x-loader" "Unsupported Chip!"

If you need access to a Processors wiki page that was taken offline, let me know and I can pull it out of the archives for you.

    Regards,

    Nick
