Our customer are interested in the AM5728. He need to be able to encode 1 or 2 H.264 streams, and decode up to 4 H.264 streams simultaneously. 1080p30 is preferred, but 720p30 or possibly even 480p30 may be acceptable. He need to understand if the AM5728 or AM5718 can achieve this, but the data sheets don't make it clear if this is possible ?
Additionally, He ran across some detailed H.264 2.0 Encoder and Decoder documents related to HDVICP2 and Media Controller (SPRS843 and SPRUHF9). These appear to be associated with DaVinci Media Processors, but it isn't clear if these might also apply to the AM5728. Please clarify if they apply not, and if they don't apply, please tell me which media processors might support this advanced HDVICP2 capability. If AM5728 does not support HDVICP2 encoder/decoder, is there a similar document to the SRP docs listed above that describes the capabilities of the VCU built-in to the AM5728? (i.e., the IVA-HD).
