YCrCb packed capture using DM642 video port driver

I need to capture BT.656 video with DM642 in YCrCb packed format (Cb-Y-Cr-Y... or something similar). The video port driver seems to only support planar capture. I was wondering if raw capture could be used to achieve what I need. I'm not sure if in raw capture mode the video port will sync to embedded BT.656 sync's.

Any comments? Advise?

    Alexander,

    DM642 video port only supports planar capture. As you mentioned, the only way to capture cb-y-cr-y interleaved data is through raw capture. In that case, it will not be able to detect embedded sync though. You'd need to use AVID for capture enable.
