TMDXIDK5718: boot the zimage from nand flash

Hi,

I am using board : TMDXIDKAM5718 ,

SDK version: ti-processor-sdk-linux-am57xx-evm-06.03.00.106 and

linux version: linux-4.19.94

I worked on SD card booting and u-boot image(MLO Uboot-img) from nor flash(S25FL256) its is working fine.

now i want work on Zimage boot from NAND Flash and load the rootfs(file system) on NAND flash(MTFC16GAKAECN).

could you please share the procedure for kernel image booting from NAND flash and store file system in NAND flash(MTFC16GAKAECN).

Looking at the table I believe Nand boot is NOT supported.

in idk board NAND boot is not support. but when i booted u-boot in nor flash that time kernel is not boot.

for kernel boot i tried SD card which has the file system & then use that to boot to kernel. it worked.

but in custom board sd card is not there. so file system we can store in nand flash memory. we discussed this topic in below link thread

could you please share the procedure of loading file system in nand flash.

We found some documentation for Nand usage on AM57xx & that is not part of SDK.
