720p30 H.264 + AAC into MP4 with GStreamer on DM365 - fast enough?

I have a DM365 EVM and am looking at trying to record 720p30 H.264 video and compressed audio (AAC/MP3/MP2 maybe) into an MP4 container, onto SD card.

Is this realistic in terms of performance with DM365 + GStreamer, maybe using the latest DDOMPE branch for the TI plugin?

I am only getting started digging into this GStreamer stuff, have tried a couple of command line pipelines with the DVSDK 4.01.00.09 bundle and was concerned that it seemed to struggle a bit with some workloads. I see that DVSDK 4.02 has just been released, I will try that too.

I thought it would be worth posting in case someone wanted to say "GStreamer is too much overhead for what you want to do, you need to do a straight DMAI application" or "you can do it if you go to DM368" or something else like that.

Alternatively a comment like "that will be fine using gstreamer-ti version XYZ" would be great to hear too.

Thanks.

P.S. I posted this on the gstreamer.ti.com forum which seems much quieter. Should I be using this E2E forum instead for GStreamer questions?
