TDA4VM: MCASP configuration of TDA4 SoC.

Hello,

We are using TDA4 SoC for some of our applications. We need to read the audio data over MCASP channel. This is a single channel data and we need to configure the MCASP in single slot mode. But when we read the TRM of TDA4, single slot mode is not mentioned any where, and if we select number of slots = 0h, it will be Burst mode.

Queries:

  1. Can we configure MCASP in single slot mode?
  2. How can we configure MCASP to receive single slot data?
  3. What is burst mode, is it similar to single slot mode?
