AM6442: Powering with LP87334D PMIC

Since VDD_CORE can be supplied either by a 0.75V or a 0.85V supply, is there anything prohibiting to power the AM64xx with the LP87334D instead of the LP873364 and removing the additional TPS745? This means, VDD_CORE, VDDR_CORE, VDDA_0P85_*, VDD_DLL_MMC0 and VDD_MCU0 would be powered by the BUCK0 dc-dc converter (of course with filtering of the analog voltages).

The accordingly modified Figure 2 of the application brief "slvaes0-Powering the AM64xx with the LP8733xx PMIC" is shown below:

Hi Bernd,

There is no issue with using LP87334D to power AM64x as long as you are using LPDDR4 memory (will not require an additional 2.5V rail) and supplying VDD_CORE with 0.85V. The only major difference between the NVM configs of LP87334D and LP873364 is the BUCK0 Vout. One thing to note is that you would miss out on the power savings of the 0.75V VDD_CORE that AM64x could provide, but if this is an intentional design choice, doing the above is a nonissue.
