TDA4VM: TIOVX compiling using host emulation

Hi,

I've been trying to compile a tiovx app but it's throwing build error (not able to recognize ti lib). On checking the documentation below it says it has been tested on GCC 5.4.0 and I have 7.5.0. Is downgrading the gcc compiler to v 5.4.0 recommended to resolve version conflicts? Are all the tests done using 5.4.0?
