Thanks for your reply..Well I am working on TMS320C5500.. It is as part of my post graduation mini project, so I need to write the assembly language code and implement it on the DSP Kit. I would be greatful if you can kindly help me out.

There is no C5500. It should be like C5505 or C55??

       Well I had gone through your suggested document earlier itself however there seems to be a world of difference in algorithm between c54 and c55. My project is on C55x. so i guess any c55 series kit algorithm should be ok. Any help on the said DSP Kit would be a great help.

            Well sorry to bother u time and again. The processor is TMS320C5510. If you have any document pertaining to it for A Law MU Law compander then can u kindly share. I am really stuck on the coding part of it in CCS. Can u please guide me ahead.
