How to install Linuk On Omap 1710 Board

Hi All,

Thank You in advance for your support and help.

I am having OMAP 1710 Board. I am trying to port Linux on it. I downloaded Linux Image from http://linux.omap.com/pub/kernel/h3/.

I am trying to do tftp to the board, every time I do its says retry exceeded.

Please help me resolving this issue, please show me direction. (I am new to embedded systems so please with my simple questions).

There is a 'How to Build Linux for the OMAP1710 Processor' Instructions on the TI Linux Community Page. I would recommend looking through this.

I tried that but at one point when I am booting my kernal image with ext2 filesystem, I am getting ext2 fs error.

EXT2-fs error (device ram0):ext2_check_page:bad entry in directory #54 rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=120,inode=0,rec_len=0,name_len=0

attempt to access beyound end of device.
