Hi,

I need to design a mechanical mock-up for our POC (next-gen product), which uses the TDA4VM Edge AI system board & the DS90UB964-Q1EVM board.

How can I get the 3D models for those boards for my mechanical mock-up design?

Please, can anyone assist with that?

Hi Yishai,

We do not have a 3D CAD model at TI, but we are checking with a 3P that we work with to see if they have a model that I can share with you. I will let you know as soon as we get a reply. If we do not receive a reply from them by Thursday next week, I will also let you know.

On the other hand, we do have schematics for the SK board's PCB available which has dimensions of the board and can possibly be used as a reference for the mock up: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sprr438

Hi Yishai,

Unfortunately, the 3P did not have a model. They are currently working on developing something that we can share, but cannot give an estimate as to when it will be done.

I will let you know when we have something that we can share with you, but please feel free to ask for additional updates as I will keep a watch on this E2E thread.

Hi Yishai,

We have not received any updates from our third party, but we did extract a basic 3D model from the EdgeAI SK board's design. I will share this through email, but let me know if this is sufficient.

Hi Takuma,

Thank you very much. I apricate your effort. Although I have converted from the available design on the TI website, it's not perfect because the component 3D is no show, for now, it was satisfying.

Hi Yishai,

I have shared the .stp file with you through email yesterday, but could you confirm that you received it? I will resend the email again right now.

Again, it is a basic 3D model that is extracted from the EdgeAI board design. If you need a more complete model, we will have to wait for our third party to respond.
