I tried to use disable caching on the 0x8c000000 through 0x8cffffff region on the C674x embedded inside the DM8168. I added the following statements to the projects .cfg file:

var Cache_64p = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.c64p.Cache');

Cache_MAR128_159 = 0xffffefff;

But when I ran the program, the associated MAR at location 0x1848230 was still set to 1 (enabled).

Instead, I had to add the following BIOS call to my main program, then the MAR was disabled:

Cache_setMar((xdc_Ptr)0x8c000000, 16 * 1024 * 1024, Cache_Mar_DISABLE);

What am I doing wrong in the .cfg file?

Neil, could you post the RTSC Platform that you are using to build your C674 application? Alternatively, could you post your .map file?

It looks like you have a typo in your .cfg. I didn't catch this earlier.

var Cache_64p = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.c64p.Cache');

Cache_MAR128_159 = 0xffffefff;

Should be

var Cache_64p = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.c64p.Cache');

Cache_64p.MAR128_159 = 0xffffefff;

This should fix your problem.
