Boot from nand Flash on Omapl_137

Hi,

   I have two board Using OMAPL_137 chip,I want to boot from nand flash on OMAPl137.However, one board  takes more than 30s to boot from flash,while another board takes no more than 1s .By the way ,my two board are not exactly the same in design,and the flash chip is diferrent also.So my question is what cause this differnce?what operation OMAPL137 have to do before boot from nand flash .Does there any datasheet focus on operation before boot?

    What time have you exactly measured? Time before you see the first bootloader trace?

    Also you may want to check the order in which the ROM Bootloader will check the external memories. NAND might be coming last in the long-booting case. Anyway boot process is thoroughly described in the OMAP-L137 reference manual.
