TDA4VM: opengl mosaic demo error

Hello expert:
Thank you for viewing,I have a problem when testing the openg_mosaic demo of TDA4, and the inputfile could not be opened. The Data package was installed in my SD card.
SDK data package: psdk_rtos_ti_data_set_07_03_00.tar.gz
Inputfile path: /opt/vision_apps/test_data/psdkra/app_opengl_mosaic/input1_file.bin

Operation step:
1. source ./vision_apps_init.sh
2. ./vx_app_arm_opengl_mosaic.out
result:

Hello,

Please be sure to first run "source ./vision_apps_init.sh" prior to running the "./vx_app_arm_opengl_mosaic.out" demo.

thanks for your reply, i run the "source ./vision_apps_init.sh " in step 1, this step is right.I found the error is function "get_test_file_path" in main_linux_arm.c of the opengl mosaic demo.the function can't get path value from VX_TEST_DATA_PATH of the vision_apps_init.sh.I don't kown why it is?

Hello,

Are you saying that if you run "echo $VX_TEST_DATA_PATH" that this is not set after running "source ./vision_apps_init.sh"? As you indicated, this is required for setting the environment variable used for the OpenGL data path.

Yes, "$VX_TEST_DATA_PATH" don't get in opengl mosaic demo. I want to kown how to set environment variable in XXX files.

I mean that run "echo $VX_TEST_DATA_PATH" that is nothing after running "source ./vision_apps_init.sh".

Hello,

That is strange. Can you try manually calling export VX_TEST_DATA_PATH=/opt/vision_apps/test_data and see what the output is?

I tried it that set path in linux, but couldn't run demo rightly. as you see, the path is effecting.

It looks like you did not export this so it would not have been set. Can you please run the following and send me the output?

export VX_TEST_DATA_PATH=/opt/vision_apps/test_data

echo $VX_TEST_DATA_PATH

./vx_app_arm_opengl_mosaic.out

Hello lucas,

I run the following and result is ok:

export VX_TEST_DATA_PATH=/opt/vision_apps/test_data

echo $VX_TEST_DATA_PATH

./vx_app_arm_opengl_mosaic.out

But I need to set it that board reboot every time, I want to change the code and resolve this issue.

Hello,

As I mentioned earlier, I am not sure why the environment variable would not be set when running source ./vision_apps_init.sh. However, if that is not working there are a number of options to set the environment variable upon boot, such as butting it in .bashrc.

Alternatively, you can update the path in the file below in the source code to pick from a hardcoded path rather than relying on an environment variable.

apps/basic_demos/app_linux_arm_opengl_mosaic/main_linux_arm.c

snprintf(input1_file_path, APP_MAX_FILE_PATH, "%s/psdkra/app_opengl_mosaic/%s", get_test_file_path(), "input1_file.bin");
