TDA4VM: How to edit a CPSW(not MCU_CPSW) node

Part Number: TDA4VM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRA829,

Hi expert!

I am planning to use the cpsw of main domain to use the cpsw0 9 ports switch.I found that there isn't any device tree file which enable the cpsw of main domain. Is there any guiding file for me to edit a device tree file for enable cpsw switch and mac?

and in the  <J721E DRA829/TDA4VM Processors Silicon Revision 1.1 Texas Instruments Families of Products>, it says that the cpsw0 is 5 ports switch(Page )

but later it says it is 9-port switch. what does it mean?

  • Hi,

TDA4VM has a CPSW9G switch. I was not able to find the reference you mentioned. Can you post the link to the document you are mentioning so that I can look into it.

The CPSW9G has a virtual net driver support on linux and hence there is no applicable device tree. The CPSW9G is controlled by ethfw.

    Regards,
