Hi Support Team,
I would like to make sure the following question.
When using two ports of AM437x Ethernet (RMII), is it necessary
to input 50MHz REFCLK generated by an external oscillator
to RMII1_REFCLK and RMII2_REFCLK respectively?
Figure 15-2 of TRM describes both RMII1_REFCLK and RMII2_REFCLK input to CPSW_3GSS.
Is it possible to input only RMII1_REFCLK to the CPU
and share the same CLK as RMII1_REFCLK for RMII2_REFCLK?
I suppose it is not possible to share the REF_CLK as described
in TRM; Figure 15-1; Ethernet Switch Integration.
Is this understanding correct?
