TDA4VM: Missing linux headers, when trying to build kernel module for PCAN driver (SDK 7.2)

Part Number: TDA4VM

Dear support,

I would like to connect az external CAN device to my TDA4 board. Based on this discussion, I understand that CAN won't be supported on Linux (A72) until SDK 8.2 is released: e2e.ti.com/.../

Therefore, I've been thinking of using a PCAN-USB device for connection. In order to do that, I would need to build a pcan kernel module alongside with the driver. My issue with this is that I haven't been able to find the linux headers either in the TDA4 board's file system, nor in the ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-07_02_00_06 directory.

I was just wondering if someone could help me with this issue? I'm not sure whether this is feasible, the main point of using a PCAN-USB device would be to avoid the situation, where I would have to use a R5F MCU only for CAN communication and having to transfer all incoming and outgoing CAN packages between the R5F and the A72 via IPC.

Kind regards,
Bence
