I am wondering if there is any way i can choose booting method. 

currently i am having problem with nand booting since i flashed wrong boot loader.

in order to get it worked, i am trying to find alternative ways like usb-booting , sd-boot eeprom-boot and etc.

if there is any information available. please provide.

for your information, i have trace32. unfortunately it does not support arm-coretex.

    A Flash Tool that runs on Windows XP is available here:

    http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/flashtool.html

    You can use that to erase and program NAND flash using the USB OTG port.

    There is also a later version that also supports flashing via UART3 port.

    does it support omap36xx as well?

    it says only about omap35, omap35 custom

    Joe:

    You should be able to use the AM37xx (Hynix) or AM37xx (Micron) target type with OMAP36xx.

    It depend on what type of NAND and DDR devices you are using.

    Joe:

    Do you have a custom board with OMAP3630 or a TI evaluation board.

    To use Flash Tool via UART you must connect PC serial port to UART3 connector

    on target board (with null MODEM serial cable).

    For UART flashing you need Flash Tool v1.5.1.0 which you should be able to

    The selection "EVM_MDDR_MICRON_2G_EMIF" is for the AM3517 EVM

    with Micron NAND MT29F4G16ABBDAH4:D and DDR2 memory.  It configures

    the DDR2 memory using the EMIF4 registers.  Could you specify the part numbers

    for your NAND and SDRAM devices?
