OMAPL138B-EP: OMAPL138BZWTQ4

Part Number: OMAPL138B-EP

Hello,

I am trying to understand the meaning behind the Q4 suffix in PN OMAPL138BZWTQ4. Can you please assist here?

Thank you

  • David

This part does not appear to be an EP part, the ZWT package was only available in the series part (datasheet).

Q4 would normally decodes as temperature range and speed grade.  The 4 would indicate a speed grade of 456MHzm but the Q does not decode to a documented temperature grade in any of the datasheets.

From where did you source these parts?

  • Hello Paul,

The subject line auto populated with that -EP, I am looking specifically for the Q4 suffix on the ZWT package. These parts were sent as part of a bulk shipment rom Texas Instruments to Rochester Electronics in 2018, and we have a question internally on the Q4 suffix of that PN to possibly sell to a customer. The Q4 suffix isn't defined on any of the datasheets that we can find.

    Thank you,

    David

Thanks for the additional details. I'll make some internal enquiries on the Q temp grade.

I can confirm that Q is the temperature grade and 4 represents the speed grade as per the std device nomenclature.  However, given that this device is subject to NDA restrictions, I cannot provide any additional details on a public forum.
