Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138, SYSBIOS, OMAP-L138

Would someone please clarify the following found in the Release Notes of the EDMA3 LLD v2.10.04?

Validation

This release was built and validated against using the following components:

This release was validated in the following configurations:

  • DA830 EVM:
    • C67x DSP/BIOS
  • TCI6498 Simulator:
    • C64X+ DSP/BIOS
  • C6748 EVM:
  • C67x DSP/BIOS
  • OMAPL138 EVM:
    • C67x DSP/BIOS
    • ARM 9 SYSBIOS
  • TI816X Simulator:
    • C67X DSP/BIOS
  • TI816X EVM:
    • C67X DSP/BIOS
  • C6472 EVM:
    • C64X+ DSP/BIOS
  • TCI6486 EVM:
    • C64X+ DSP/BIOS
  • TI814X EVM:

I am trying to use a recent version (v2.10.04) of EDMA3 LLD on an OMAP-L138 SOC and would have expected the BIOS6 driver to support both the C67x and ARM. But unless I am mis-understanding the above, this package does not support the C67x (ie DSP/BIOS not SYSBIOS)....? Are we using the term DSP/BIOS (which i believe to be bios 5) but really mean SYSBIOS (bios 6)??? Please clarify.

Thx,
