About the NL5500 chip, altitude change but the gps chip is fixed

We're engineers working on Motorola Solution Radio GPS application development. Recently we observed one phenomena that GPS reporting's altitude value always change even the radio is in static.  
So we want to check with you about NL5500 chip's accurate for altitude. 
Could you let us know the accurate of NL5500 chip for altitude information? Like what's the changing range when there's no moving ?
