TDA4VM: uboot can not save environment

Hi, TI

We use tda4 evm, sdk is ti-processor-sdk-linux-j7-evm-08_00_00_08-Linux-x86-Install.bin

We modify uboot environment as follow:

editenv bootcmd

edit: run findfdt;

saveenv

We reset the tda4 board, find the previously set environment variable did not work.

Hi,

Yes from 7.3 SDK to 8.0 SDK the environment saving shifted from eMMC to SD. Please follow the below FAQ:

Please checkout 1) Environment is now saved to FAT partition of SD as against eMMC in the previous 7.3 version. This is to accommodate eaik boards that do not have eMMC.
