TDA4VM: User application for sending data through ethernet

Hello,

I wanted to send data through ethernet from A72 core and wanted a user application like client/server program. Should I be using ethfw or enet ? And how to use? I am currently using pdk rtos j721e_evm 07_03_00_07. For building an application to send /receive data should I be using pdk_jacinto_07_03_00_29 or ethfw ? And how to use it ?

Please suggest .

Thank you jian35385 for your response. Is it possible to run the demo application without the GESI expansion board ? I actually wanted to establish ethernet connection between PC and the board (J721e) (A72 core).

Thank you jian35385 A gentle reminder for a response. In the above link mentioned, is it possible to use this application without the GESI expansion board. I actually wanted to send/receive through ethernet from PC to A72 core. As per my understanding, the PC has to be connected to CPSW, which is connected to A72, R5_0 and R5_1. My doubt was where does ENET and NDK play a part in this ? Can we use ENET example to send/receive data like the ENET NIMU example ? Please suggest . Thanks.

Hi,

There is one ethernet port available on EVM.

This port is enabled by Linux SDK. Please refer to the below section in the user guide.
