data verification failed

I was working on a simple project I created, by loading and modifying data (image) into the memory (to get accustumed with the Board)

the program is in L2RAM ,the data are in DDR2 (0x80000000),

everything was OK, but without changing anything, I couldn't load data into the memory

"data verification failed at 0x80000000"

I could load the program but not the data

please help

Can you tell which board / EVM you are using ?

You might to run a gel file, to turn on the clock to DDR and initialize it, before you load the code/data.

Are you using TI code composer studio ?

Look under software resources.

Yes I am using CCStudio 3.3

everything was OK untill,for a reason I don't know I had this error message

I tried to load GEL file, it didn't change anything

Problem solved after I loaded "FBTCEVMDM6437.out" into the chip

what did this file do ??

Did you run the gel command for DDR2 initialization ?

Or - Can you try to disconnect the target and re-connect. 'On target connect' it should run the gel option to initialize the DDR2.

Open the memory window and then type 0x8000:0000. You should be able write to the address and read back, when DDR2 is correctly initialized.
