AM3352: Inquiry about supporting MLDv2

Hi Team,

Our customer has developed their system board with AM3352 in the past, and customer plans to develop the next system for another end-users. They plan to use Linux Processor SDK for AM335x and plan to modify some functions. Therefore, first of all, customer would like to check if the following feature is supported or not,

Is AM335x's processor SDK(Linux) supporting MLDv2(Multicast Listener Discovery v2)?
Is it possible to run Java? Customer is asking it simply.

Can I have your expert's advice/comments on those inquiries, please?

Hi,

Concerning MLDv2 the best answer I can give is that MLDv2 is a part of the Linux Kernel IPv6 network stack support. IPv6 is enabled as part of the TI SDK kernel build but there could be IPv6 features that are not enabled that are required to support MLDv2. We do not have any examples on how to configure MLDv2.

The TI Linux SDK does not have a JVM integrated in, there is javascript support though.
