Hi Champs

There's a question that customer wants to know. They have used DM8168 and OMAL138 earlier.

Now they would like to use Sitara processor for new project. 

Could you please provide us with audio processing performance benchmark data btw OMAPL138 and Sitara AM3/4/5 if available?

If the document is not ready, Please also mention about difference btw OMAPL138 and Sitara if any.

    We don`t generally provide performance comparison of DSP based devices with ARM cores. ARM cores are good at running High level OS and provide connectivity services while DSP cores is specialized to run compute intensive tasks on the SoC. If you need something to Estimate performance of signal processing performance for ARM And DSP cores then you can point your customer to the benchmarks here:

    Please note max frequency of ARM9 and C674x on OMAPL138 is 456 MHz but Cortex A8 on AM335x runs upto 1 GHz.
